Among the many great scenes in the film, there are two that stand out the most for me. The first is the powerfully moving battle scene with no ambient sound, just mournful symphonic music. It's breathtaking. The second is the seduction scene where Kaede threatens to kill Jiro, opens a cut on his neck with her dagger, then licks up his blood just before kissing him. It's chilling.

Of course the justly famous last scene also sticks in the mind, along with others. Anyone else here have favorite scenes from "Ran"?
